Working professionals can now enjoy even more benefits with Baiduri Bank’s refreshed Smart Executive Programme (SEP), tailored to meet the financial and lifestyle needs of young professionals.

With benefits ranging from convenience to financial flexibility and tools, the SEP is open to professionals between ages 21 and 45 who earn a monthly gross income of $2,000 and above.

Baiduri Bank CEO Pierre Imhof, said the programme focuses on this specific age demographic because they are go-getters.

To cater to this specific audience, Head of Retail Banking and Branch Network Pg Azaleen Pg Dato Hj Mustapha, said the bank has revamped the current programme with a fresh new look and improved benefits to better complement their lifestyle.

“The programme is created on the principles of the four pillars: Smart Financial Privileges, Smart Wallet, Smart Lifestyle and Smart Digital Bank.”

Smart Financial Privileges 

The SEP has personalised solutions ranging from preferential rates on loans to investment packages to assist customers to achieve their goals such as getting a first home, purchasing their first car or saving for their children’s education.

Smart Wallet  

The revamped programme comes with a special Baiduri Smart Executive branded cards with travel and lifestyle benefits locally and globally.

Internationally accepted, the Baiduri Smart Executive Visa Platinum Debit Card avails the cardholder with benefits such as VIP treatment privileges, up to six complimentary visits to over 850 airport lounges worldwide, as well as discounts of up to 50 per cent at over 900 dining outlets in airports worldwide with the Airport Companion Programme by DragonPass.

Additionally, the card avails customers to various travel privileges and rewards experiences.

Smart Lifestyle

SEP customers can enjoy even more benefits from its extended list of participating vendors, known as Smart Partners. They can expect to receive invitations to events and insightful seminars aimed at empowering SEP members with tools to achieve financial success.

“We’ve teamed up with a suite of Smart Partners to offer exclusive discounts ranging from health and fitness, travel and dining overseas, automobile dealerships as well as tech and gadgets; covering the general spectrum of needs of this demographic,” said Pg Azaleen.

Smart Digital Bank

For the convenience of SEP customers, the bank also offers digital banking.

Customers can keep track of finances, settle bills, purchase top-ups or transfer funds locally and abroad with the Baiduri Personal i-Banking, which allows members to bank from anywhere using their mobile devices.

Additionally, with 24-hour customer helpline and an extensive network of ATMs, SEP can provide services that digitally-savvy customers need to be confident in managing their finances electronically.

Pg Azaleen said young entrepreneurs are also eligible to apply for the programme if they meet the requirements.

The requirements include a minimum monthly income of $2,000 assigned to Baiduri Bank or Baiduri Finance. Those with an existing hire purchase account with Baiduri Finance are also eligible.

In line with the relaunch of the programme, Baiduri Bank is offering a welcome reward of $300 for the first 30 new sign-ups who successfully apply for any of the following:

  • Loan (Personal) of BND10,000 and above
  • Loan (Home Ownership) of BND50,000 and above
  • Unit Trust of BND20,000 and above
  • Wealth Management – Life Insurance Product with a yearly minimum of BND1,200
  • Hire Purchase of BND30,000 and above
