The Centre of Lifelong Learning (C3L) under Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) will be offering several new programmes and short courses for its upcoming intake in August.
Facilitated by industry and academic experts, C3L now offers a total of nine programmes:
- Bachelor of Science in Digital Economy
- Master of Government
- Master of Education
- Master of Teaching
- Master of Management
- Master of Islamic Finance
- Master of Economics
- Master of Public Health
- Master of Science in Petroleum Geoscience
Seven language modules are being offered as short courses: Arabic, Dusun, Tagalog, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, and Malay.
The language modules can be taken as 14-week courses or can be used as credits towards a diploma, bachelor or master degree qualification.
UBD Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Academic Affairs), Associate Professor Dr Ayub Sadiq, said the flexibility of C3L’s learning approach — such as video lectures, online assessments and a longer period to complete degree courses — is aimed at members of the public who want to upgrade their skills for professional development.
Entry requirements are also different from conventional admission, taking into account an applicant’s work experience.
Currently, there are 350 students undertaking courses at the Centre for Lifelong Learning. More information on the programmes can be obtained here.
Interested applicants can also get more information during the centre’s open day from 10am to 10pm on April 21 and 22, held on the first floor of The Mall Gadong.
