BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Brunei’s ruler, His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, announced a major cabinet shake-up on Thursday, which saw the creation of three new coordinating ministers roles and the promotion of three women to the rank of deputy minister.

The monarch also announced the restructuring of key portfolios, with the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism now known as the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
