International speaker to run emotional intelligence workshop The workshop will focus on importance of managing emotional intelligence in leadership

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – An international keynote speaker will conduct a workshop on emotional intelligence (EQ) at Badi’ah Hotel next month.

Bruneian company Platinum Star Management Services has invited Mark Stuart, a certified speaking professional, to coach participants on managing their EQ to improve their internal and external relationships.

In a press statement, the company said Stuart has trained over 200 multinational companies, government agencies, and universities, particularly in innovation, leadership and soft skills.

The November 18-19 workshop will teach participants the importance of EQ and why it is needed in modern leadership. The workshop will also include the four aspects of EQ and workplace communication.

EQ is the ability to control and express one’s emotions to better handle interpersonal relationships.

During the workshop titled “Win People Over With Your Emotional Intelligence”, participants will get a free EQ assessment and certificate of completion.

The workshop is part of Platinum Star Management Services’ training series to improve the level of human resources skills in Brunei Darussalam including leadership, communication, problem-solving and work ethics.
