BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Deloitte Brunei opened doors on its new office Monday, located in the newly revitalisd Mutiara Exchange building in Tungku Link.
Designed as a vibrant and dynamic space for collaboration, Deloitte’s new office is poised to “deliver seamless services to clients in Brunei and across Southeast Asia”, the firm said in a press release.
“This new office represents a tangible manifestation of Deloitte’s investment in Brunei’s future and signals its dedication to nurturing the next generation of Bruneian talent.”
Deloitte Brunei is situated in the 13-storey Mutiara Exchange, a business hub located close to government offices, financial institutions, and major businesses.
Formerly known as the DST headquarters, the building has recently been transformed into premium office space with tenants that include Deloitte, DST, and Kristal Media.
“When we selected this iconic building, it wasn’t just a matter of finding a new space — it was a statement of our commitment to Brunei’s growth and development,” said Shariq Barmaky, country managing partner for Brunei and Singapore.

Barmaky added that the new office aimed to be “a talent magnet that brings together the best Bruneian minds, ideas, and energy”.
“Our people are empowered to shape solutions for local clients, and are given opportunities to gain knowledge and expertise from regional projects. This will ultimately build a lasting legacy for our Deloitte practice in Brunei and at the same time, elevate the standards of the profession in the country,” he said.
Deloitte Brunei is marking 45 years in the sultanate, with decades of experience providing audit and advisory services to the Brunei business community, the government, and government-linked companies.
“This new chapter at the Mutiara Exchange symbolises renewed energy, a refreshed presence, and a steadfast commitment to driving success and opportunities for Bruneians,” the firm said.
Second Minister of Finance and Economy, Dato Dr Hj Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah, attended the event as guest of honour.
