BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Maju Motors has officially launched the all-new BYD Seal 5 Premium, Brunei’s longest-range vehicle.
Capable of travelling up to 1,220km on a single full charge and tank, the BYD Seal 5 Premium sets a new benchmark for modern hybrid mobility in the sultanate.
During a private event at Rizqun International Hotel, Managing Director of Maju Motors, Chan Key Hong, provided a preview of upcoming BYD vehicles, offering guests a glimpse into the future of the brand.
The Seal 5 was officially unveiled by Mr Chan, alongside Pg Dato Paduka Hj Yunus and Stanley Lim Hock Ghim as executive directors of Maju Motors; Hj Raymee, general manager of Baiduri Finance; Jerrell Chan, marketing manager of Maju Motors; and Dr Li Feng, general manager of Bank of China.
Showcasing the latest DM-i Super Hybrid technology, the BYD Seal 5 Premium delivers a combined range of 1,220km — 1,100km on petrol and 120km on electric power — making it the most capable and efficient sedan in Brunei.
This exceptional range positions the Seal 5 as an ideal choice for both daily commutes and long-distance travel.
As part of the launch event, Maju Motors hosted a special lucky draw for guests and existing BYD customers.
Lucky draw winners and Seal 5 owners Hj Abd Hadi Hj Awang Sharif and Pg Kamarudin Pg Hj Abdullah walked away with the lifetime servicing prize, while the China race track experience was claimed by Muhammad Nur Hasyim Zufri and Keeven Khoo Tze How.
A key highlight of the evening was the Seal 5 Grand Giveaway, where two lucky BYD customers were drawn at random to claim the biggest prize of the night.
Kimberly Faye Chiuh Mei and Norfazilah Sidin were officially announced as the winners, each driving home with an all-new BYD Seal 5.
