On Monday, two advanced new-energy models were introduced to the Brunei market, the DEEPAL S05 and DEEPAL S07, aimed at drivers looking for smarter and more sustainable mobility.
DEEPAL is a smart new-energy vehicle brand from China’s Changan Automobile Group, built on artificial intelligence and deep-learning technology.
DEEPAL S05
Making its debut as Brunei’s first Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), the DEEPAL S05 allows drivers to enjoy electric-powered daily driving, with a total range of up to 1,170km.
Powered by a 27.28kWh battery and a 1.5L hybrid-specific engine, the S05 delivers 218hp and 320Nm of torque, alongside a pure electric range of up to 170km, making it suitable for both city commutes and longer journeys.
DEEPAL S07
With its sleek, futuristic design and spacious, high-tech interior, the DEEPAL S07 delivers a refined driving experience.
A fully electric SUV that showcases the brand’s vision of premium electric mobility, its 79.97 kWh battery offers a driving range of up to 570km.
Built on the EPA1 all-electric digital platform, the S07 produces 215hp and 320Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100km/h in 6.7 seconds.
Both the S05 and S07 are equipped with 16 advanced ADAS safety systems and have achieved 5-star Euro NCAP safety ratings, underscoring DEEPAL’s focus on safety and reliability.
Ownership confidence is further strengthened through DEEPAL Care, which includes a six-year vehicle warranty and an eight-year battery warranty.
