BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Amira Sariyati drove home with a brand new Toyota Rush on Friday after winning Toyota Brunei’s Meriah Ria Grand Draw.
Eleven finalists were selected from customers who purchased a Toyota vehicle in March. While Amira walked away with the grand prize, the other 10 finalists were also rewarded with shopping vouchers ranging from B$500 to B$3,000.
The latest grand draw marks the conclusion of the 3-month “Meriah Ria” campaign, which saw customers win shopping vouchers as well as the coveted grand prizes of a Toyota Vios, Raize and Rush.

Amira Sariyati, 43, shared her excitement with the media after winning the grand prize, describing the win as both unexpected and “deeply meaningful”.
She said her family had long trusted the Toyota brand, with her first car being a Toyota Alphard. Her late father had also been a big Toyota enthusiast, previously owning a Toyota Estima.
Amira purchased her Toyota Alphard in mid-March during the “Meriah Ria” campaign period. Her household currently owns several Toyota models, including a Vios, Hilux and Alphard, with the newly-won Rush set to join the lineup.
As the eldest of four siblings, Amira said she plans to gift the Toyota Rush to her brother.

The grand draw was conducted in two rounds. Four winners received B$500 shopping vouchers: Ak Abdul Ba’its Pg Sallehudin, Julaihi Othman, Hj Alwi Mohamed, and Azmey Salim.
Three other finalists — Muhamed Azrul Khafiq Omar Ali, Mark Kevin Diwa Pea, and Wilson Dau ak Ningkan — took home B$1,000 vouchers.
The remaining four finalists progressed to the second round, where Vice President of Inchcape Brunei, Md Clovien Abdullah Timpoh, drew their names and they selected surprise boxes to determine their prizes.
Mohammad Huzaiman Hj Kassim secured fourth place with a B$1,500 shopping voucher, followed by Nadiatul Hanna Hj Zulkifli, who won a B$2,000 voucher. Abdul Aziz Mohamad Ali claimed second place with a B$3,000 voucher.

Beyond the prizes, the Meriah Ria campaign underscored Toyota’s commitment to creating rewarding, memorable experiences for its customers while strengthening its connection with the community.
