TEMBURONG – BAIC owners from across Brunei came together for an exclusive weekend getaway to Temburong, as TCY Motors marked its 65th anniversary by celebrating the people behind the wheel.
The BAIC Owners’ Weekend Adventure brought together owners of the BAIC X55, BJ30 and BJ40 for a convoy from the BAIC showroom to The Abode Resort & Spa in Temburong.
Designed to go beyond the usual ownership experience, the event allowed participants to connect with fellow BAIC owners, spend time with the BAIC team, and enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by nature.
One of the highlights was an exclusive preview of the BAIC BJ40 Special Anniversary Edition. Guests also got a first look at a teaser video hinting at what’s next for the BJ40 lineup, including an upcoming limited light off-road edition and a hardcore edition of the iconic SUV.
The preview reflected BAIC Brunei’s continued focus on combining rugged performance with distinctive design, while giving owners an early glimpse of exciting new models.
TCY Motors chairman Teng Chee Khiong said the anniversary was an opportunity to celebrate both the company’s journey and the customers who have supported the brand over the years.
“Celebrating our 65th anniversary is not only about reflecting on our journey but also about appreciating the customers who have placed their trust in us over the years,” he said.
