There’s a new zero-calorie cola in town and it’s certified as “healthier choice” by the government too — Kingston Beverage & Creamery has rolled out the all-new Pepsi Black.

According to Ng Boon Wee, sales and marketing manager of the company, “ This is the first ever no calorie and no sugar carbonated drink for Pepsi in Brunei ”. The beverage is described as a “max taste carbonated soft drink with zero sugar”.

Locally made, the calorie-free cola is introduced in line with the nation’s aim towards encouraging people to make a healthier choice and live healthier lifestyles, he added.

The Pepsi Black symbolises youth, energy and passion . (By introducing this product) we are hoping to attract new customers in Brunei.” The cola will be available in two forms: bottles and cans designed in all black displaying the tagline “Max Taste. Zero Sugar”.

The calorie-free drink serves to fill a gap in the company’s soft drink portfolio within the zero sugar space in the country. It will be available this week in all major retail stores and outlets, just in time for the fasting month.

The launching ceremony took place at the Mutiara Ballroom of Radisson Hotel and was attended by the company’s Managing Director Malcolm Lim, General Manager Valentine Hon, Plant Manager Albert Lim, company executives as well as invited guests and buyers from retail industries nationwide.
