Nominations for Youth Day awards now open Members of the public can nominate individuals or youth-led projects that have had a positive impact on the community

Do you know a young person that deserves to be recognised for their positive impact on the community?

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports has announced that nominations are now open for the 2019 National Youth Day Awards, which will be celebrated in August this year.

This year there will be four award categories: Outstanding Youth Project Award; Excellent Youth Award; Youth Service Award and the Youth Leader Award.

Nomination forms can be downloaded from the ministry’s website and each completed form must be submitted to the Secretariat of the National Youth Day Awards 2019 no later than 4.30pm on June 15.
