BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – The much-hyped Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ has just launched in Brunei, and promises to be Samsung’s most powerful phone yet, offering impressive features, longer battery life and wireless charging.

The Note10 is designed to replicate a computer experience on a mobile phone and comes equipped with a gaming console, a movie-tech camera and intelligent pen.

Available in two models, the Note10 comes with a display of 6.3 inches while the Note10+ clocks in at 6.8 inches.

A simple tap on the screen will unlock the device thanks to the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Users will experience Samsung’s most vivid displays yet —  the latest phones in the Galaxy series are furnished with the Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED, a new screen technology that offers cinema-grade colour and contrast. It also reduces that pesky blue light that causes eye strain.

The new models will also include an upgraded version of the S-Pen, letting you control apps — such as the camera — remotely and without having to touch the phone, You can also sketch in augmented reality and convert handwritten notes into texts.

For photography enthusiasts, the Note10+ camera can capture everything from wide-angle shots to selfies, and has DepthVision to distinguish between subjects and their background for that dreamy bokeh effect.

Another feature is the live focus video, which lets users apply bokeh and other effects to photos and videos. A built-in zoom microphone will also give users clearer audio.

Both the Note 10 and 10+ have longer battery life and super-fast charging, and can even by charged by other phones through Wireless PowerShare.

Both phones were launched exclusively at the Samsung Experience Store on Thursday, located at DSTIncomm, Gadong and officiated by DST’s Acting CEO Radin Sufri Radin Basiuni.

The the Note 10 series starts as $1,268, and customers can choose between storage space of 256GB or 512GB.

As part of the DST’s promotional offer, Standard Chartered cardholders will get $100 off the phone if purchased via SCB Visa credit card/EasyPay. Installment plans are also available with BIBD At-Tamwil.
