BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – Indera Motors has taken another step towards sustainable motoring with the installation of EV charging infrastructure at the Land Rover showroom in Beribi.
A special event, held in collaboration with the Brunei Shell Marketing Company, marked the unveiling of one AC and one DC charger at the facility.

General Manager of Indera Motors, Alfred Yong, said the installation represents an important step in preparing for the gradual transition toward electrified vehicles.
“Today is about readiness. By putting the right infrastructure in place, we are preparing our showroom, our operations, and our clients for the future of mobility.”
The event also showcased the Defender plug-in hybrid models, giving guests the chance to view Land Rover’s electrified vehicles up close.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was officiated by Hjh Farida DSP Hj Talib, permanent secretary (Energy) at the Prime Minister’s Office; and Hj Mohd Salihin Hj Aspar, deputy permanent secretary at the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.
They were joined by Alexirwan Omar, managing director at Brunei Shell Marketing; and Alfred Yong, GM at Indera Motors.
