BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – BYD has just introduced the DiSus Intelligent Suspension Technology to Brunei, marking a significant step forward in driving comfort, control and safety.
The advanced system was unveiled during the BYD technology showcase at BRIDEX Hall, Jerudong, held in conjunction with the WorldSkills Brunei National Competition.
DiSus, short for BYD Intelligent Suspension System, is engineered to enhance ride comfort, vehicle control, and overall safety by continuously monitoring road conditions, vehicle dynamics and driving behaviour.
The system automatically adjusts the suspension in real time, allowing the vehicle to adapt seamlessly to different driving scenarios.

In everyday driving, DiSus improves comfort by softening the suspension on rough or uneven roads. During cornering, braking, and higher-speed driving, the system firms up the suspension to enhance stability and control. In sudden manoeuvres or emergency situations, DiSus helps minimise body roll and maintain vehicle balance.
What sets DiSus apart is its deep integration with BYD’s in-house technologies, including electric motors, braking systems and vehicle control units. This enables all components to operate together as one intelligent system, delivering a more refined and confidence-inspiring driving experience.

The DiSus technology is available in multiple variants, each tailored to different driving needs, from everyday comfort and performance, to luxury and off-road applications.
Its introduction reflects BYD’s continued commitment to advancing intelligent automotive technology and providing safer, more sophisticated vehicles for customers in Brunei.
Visitors attending the showcase were able to learn more about DiSus and its real-world benefits through on-site demonstrations and explanations by BYD product specialists.

The first vehicle in Brunei to feature DiSus will be an upcoming BYD model, teased as the all-new BYD PHEV M9, a plug-in hybrid Multi-Purpose Vehicle.
